Before & After

I worked with this client to clear the desktop of paperwork and create a system to manage the daily dreaded incoming flow of paper so it doesn’t pile on the desk and important papers do not get lost. I also organized the clients supplements so they are easily visible and cork-board/wall area so he can now see his family!
I worked with this client to bring order to a home office. This is a work in progress with the client now being able to work on a clear desktop and some filing systems in place. She has felt very inspired to go through and purge many items in her home office.
This client had a children’s room that needed some reorganizing to make better use of the space. I moved the table to the window so it was much more inviting to sit and do activities. I reorganized the storage that the client already had to make the toys more accessible including using the space under the bed. The kids are really enjoying their new space!
This project was a labor of love as it involved my wonderful talented artist husband. He was finally ready to really get organized. (okay-maybe it was a tiny bit of nagging) Together we sorted through all of the cabinets in his art room purged filing drawers and filed papers. I showed him how to store all of the information written on little pieces of paper and business cards that he had scattered everywhere and how to go in a paperless direction. He is feels so much more creative without all the clutter and he is excited to keep it that way.
Most people do not enjoy dealing with filing and paperwork. Having a clearly labeled and organized filing system makes it so much easier. Four drawers of hard to read, messy files were converted into a neat organized system. I created easy to read printed hanging tabs and file folder labels and used existing hanging folders to give each category it’s own color to make it visually neater. New interior folders were purchased to replace very worn out old ones. Files were purged and many files scanned digitally into the computer in a move to go paperless. Wow! Paperwork might now be fun!
